Streamed musician pay - fair money?

Wait how ridiculously old are you that you listen to music on YouTube.
Its not 2008 anymore.

To be fair it's good for finding music, though yeah I don't tend to use it to listen to music.

Out of curiosity why not? I mean, it's a simple free service you can just turn on in a web browser and keep in the background. It's easy to find what you want on it as well. So like, why wouldn't you? If anything that's really where it shines.

My TV doesn't and it woudn't block the adds in a clip anyway.
Also, I use YT for listening to music (when not using my mp3/CD collection) because I don't know any other way.

But why and how would you watch music on your TV? I mean, even if you can why would you ever? I guess I am just too used to either going full ham if its a party or sitting down with headphones if its only me.

Neither did I but it was on sale and I needed a TV, at first I thought I wouldn't use it but it's nice when i don't want to be on the PC (and it has better sound too).
And it probably gives the artists some money too, I guess, to get on topic.

Again missing my point, lots of musicians are rich and successful because of their labels and radio payola, why should they get more money than they already have? Also, streaming is free, a privilege that everyone with internet has, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to go to youtube or spotify to find a song and listen to it.
