That's the Republicans. Democrats will stay home and not die, but they won't vote.

This is not in fact true.
The election date is not set in the US Constitution, which explicitly grants the power to choose the election date to the legislative branch.
Article II, Clause 4
[spelling as in the original]The Congress may determine the Time of chusing the Electors, and the Day on which they shall give their Votes; which Day shall be the same throughout the United States.
So the election could be delayed should both houses of Congress decide to grant said delay - which is obviously not going to happen - so long as all 50 states hold the election on the same revised date;
However the date that a president's term ends is set by Amendment XX.
Amendment XX, Clause 1The terms of the President and Vice President shall end at noon on the 20th day of January, and the terms of Senators and Representatives at noon on the 3d day of January, of the years in which such terms would have ended if this article had not been ratified; and the terms of their successors shall then begin
Summed up, an election delay is not unconstitutional, but the power to grant a delay rests with Congress, not the president. However, even if a delay to the presidential election is granted, Trump's term would end on the 20th of January.
For reference, Amendment XX also deals with the unlikely possibility that no new president has been chosen by the 20th of January.
Amendment XX, Clauses 2-42: The Congress shall assemble at least once in every year, and such meeting shall begin at noon on the 3d day of January, unless they shall by law appoint a different day.
3: If, at the time fixed for the beginning of the term of the President, the President elect shall have died, the Vice President elect shall become President. If a President shall not have been chosen before the time fixed for the beginning of his term, or if the President elect shall have failed to qualify, then the Vice President elect shall act as President until a President shall have qualified; and the Congress may by law provide for the case wherein neither a President elect nor a Vice President elect shall have qualified, declaring who shall then act as President, or the manner in which one who is to act shall be selected, and such person shall act accordingly until a President or Vice President shall have qualified.

So if no presidential election has taken place by the 20th of January, Congress then has to elect an acting president 'until a President or Vice President shall have qualified' (which would be fun).
Summarising, even with an unlikely delayed election, short of a constitutional amendment revising Amendment XX, Trump's term ends two days before my birthday next year.

If the election is postponed, the Speaker becomes the president after the 20th until one is voted in. Is that correct?

But if you delay the election your also talking about the prospect of their being no congress since its also being chosen on that date not to mention many state legislatures and several states will be closing statewide officials. Its simply impractical and not even remotely feasible.

Of course. That doesn't stop the House unless the election is postponed till 2022.
