And if it was about slowing the spread, he wouldn't be attacking mail-in voting. You know, the thing that he's previously said would make it impossible for the GOP to ever win again because they can't suppress it like they do in-person voting.

Who said cancel?

Cancelling the elections are generally a prerequisite to being a dictator. One of, if not the most important prerequisites, I'd add.

Trump is proposing something actually worse than kidnapping peaceful protesters. This is more of an attack on democracy, not just a distraction.

This title is extremely misleading and outright false. Trump ranting on Twitter is not an executive order, and Trump does not have the authority to delay the election at all. Even if he somehow does, Pelosi will become the Acting President if it is delayed beyond January.

No not really. He is noticeably behind in four states which he won to beat H. Mississippi which he will win normally supports anything Republican by 40 points. It’s down to 20 now.

His incompetence over Covid hurt him badly. Bowing to Putin over everything including the bounties on American soldiers has hurt him. Covid is hurting him more as he can’t have his rallies and dog whistle away./

The 20th Amendment will kick Trump out on January 20th, and the Republican voter suppression machine can't stop states implementing mail in voting and record turnout from Trump's blunders.
