Citizens United is a colloquial term for Citizens United v. FEC; A 2010 supreme court case that struck down the McCain–Feingold Act - a law that forbade most organisations engaging in ""electioneering communication"(producing content that may sway voters opinion of a candidate) near an election unless they followed the laws for financing campaigns. Specifically in this case the FEC had barred a group called Citizens United from releasing a documentary about Hillary Clinton in 2008. Has the act been upheld ICE would have had grounds to block Netflix from airing this documentary on the grounds that it violated campaign finance law(since they didn't follow campaign finance laws when funding it's production).

Except I am not an anarchist, I am a sympathizer and ally to anarchists and communists and would rejoice in their success, and I am heavily influenced by the theories, philosophy, and ideologies of anarchists and other libertarian socialists, but I do not think I would count as an anarchist. Rather than abolish the state (which I do not mind), I am advocating to defang the state and dissolve the least desirable parts of the state (closed borders, standing militaries, policing, surveillance, incarceration, etc...). I however still wish to abolish capitalism (or at the very least limit capitalism to be a very small part of society.

Using Robert Reich's terminology, I want a society of social investment, not a society of social control.

1. This sounds almost indistinguishable from anarchism because, when you set out to abolish the military, the police, regulated political borders, and incarceration, you're essentially proposing to abolish the state. Max Weber described the monopoly on the physical use of force as the defining conception of the state and that's precisely what implementing your suggestions would strip away.

2. You cannot achieve a functional society without social control. Every society is to some extent predicated on coercion - even hunter-gatherer societies such as the San who lived in the manner described until recently. You can construct a more horizontal and equitable social order but that doesn't banish social control and coercion from human interactions or from society.

3. None of this serves as non-ideological purpose, which one could accept were it not so blatantly detrimental to the maintenance of social order.

There was no "need" to stop Hispanic migrants. They're welcomed by most Americans as a mutual contributor to the US economy. The main complaint is them not paying income tax, which is the fault of a system that stacks the deck against them coming in legally; it gives them no incentive to pay income tax and plenty not to. And the only voters on whose behalf the system stacks the deck against them are:

1. Right-wingers who spent their whole lives trashing welfare recipients as bums and leeches and then ending up out of a job through as much fault of their own as those other welfare recipients (ie. 0) and instead of admitting they're wrong about welfare take their anger out on the migrants who were more employable than them. Fuck those whiners. They're beneath pity.

2. People who can't handle competing with foreign cultural influences for their kids' attention. Fuck those whiners. They're beneath pity.

LA County, biggest in California, used to have an immigration system where illegal immigrant felons would be reported to ICE by LA County's Sheriff Department, and ICE understood that any of illegal immigrants who were picked up as a result of these raids, but had no felonies, were to be released. That policy was very effective, and dropped crime really fast, since your odds of being deported if you committed a felony were probably 10 to 20 times higher than if you didn't, so there's your incentive to be a good boy or girl. It was an unspoken policy, so it'll be a bit hard to find, but why can't we bring that back?

The felons would either have to be convicted, plead guilty, or be filmed in the act of the felony's commission. A cop saying "he did it" wasn't enough. Needless to say, crime dropped real fast, once illegal immigrants got the message. And according to California Law, crossing the border illegally is a misdemeanor, not a felony, unless you have illegal drugs on you in decently sized amounts.
