In the distant future humanity should expand to other planets until the whole galaxy is human.

In the medium-long term people should put tribalism and nationalism behind us by uniting into larger federations.

That won't be necessary. World President Trump wanted it right-way-up at all times, and wouldn't listen to any of that "fffhysics rubbish" so his lackeys sculpted the BACK of his head instead, which of course turned out a lot cheaper. As Trump proudly announced, that year saw "the greatest expansion of wealth in human history", meaning there were a record number of new billionaires.

Not that Trump was happy with the job. He wanted the taxpayer money back, until someone explained that the face side of his bust would be the first thing any approaching aliens would see. Not bad for government work.

Goals are socially constructed necessarily. As a Christian one might say ultimately, unity with God, but I think what is mean is political goals, in which case, these are shifting with many wills.
