NYT was going to publish home address of Fox news reporter

NYT acronym for the "New York Times" had hired Murray Carpenter, a reporter for the NYT to publish Fox News reporter Tucker Carlson's home address. This is clearly a way to threaten his family and de-base his platform. Here is a video of Tucker Carlson talking about it on his segment:-

Despite what you may think about his politics this is clearly a denouncable deed by the NYT. You don't have the right to silence your political opponents. What do you think?

EDIT:NYT has gone back on their decision to publish Tucker Carlson's home address after much backlash and also allege that they were never going to publish it.

Tucker Carlson should be threatened and deplatformed

So Tucker Carlson should be protected from reality and continually be in his Fox News bubble?

Doxxing people who participate in the political process and journalism simply because they disagree with you isn't moral, since it can facilitate the commission of crimes and endanger their families, and is in fact poor journalistic ethics. The NYT should be ashamed if this accusation is true.

Why would the author of 'Caffeinated: How Our Daily Habit Helps, Hurts, and Hooks Us' and a series of nature articles write a bit about Carlson? Is the Swanson corporation planning on getting in on the frozen coffee game?

You shouldn't be part of society if you believe that . Everybody should have the most basic right of freedom of speech and expression.

You can criticize him and make fun of him but you cannot not publish his home address inorder to physically threaten him.

I can guarantee you that someone's going to report him for promoting criminal activity.

And also advertisers can pull their ads to his show when he says startling shit. Do you yourself like Tucker?

Pretty low, but Tucker Carlson doesn't have any fans who would rush over to his house and defend him? It's not left-leaners who tend to carry firearms.

Now that's a low blow. I vehemently disagree with Tucker Carlson, but this is an intimidation tactic for people to physically threaten him, plain and simple. I wouldn't wish for anybody to be beaten to the ground, except for the actual monsters who committed crimes against humanity, of course. And Tucker Carlson never did any serious shit like that.

Couldn't he get an injunction? Or is this one of the joys of American free speech?

No matter how much you disagree with someone's politics, opening them up to genuine violence and violating their privacy is immoral and frankly unacceptable.

Editing this post just in case new readers of this thread make their way down the first page before posting:

OP is a liar. The thread title is a lie and their half-assed edit of the opening post is also a lie. NYT was not going to publish Carlson's home address. Carlson made it up to deflect from reports that he's a sex pest at work.

OP has been repeatedly told to correct their misleading title and description of this topic, but have instead chosen to double down over and over, regardless of the evidence contradicting their narrative (and the absence of reliable evidence confirming it).

Generally speaking, doxxing just shouldn't happen.

Hopefully, that plus a doxxing doesn't result in something nasty occurring.

Edit: Ah...okay. It is apparently related to this accusation. Now it makes sense.

According to the NYT, Tucker is lying.

And given the other link I provided, he has a clear motivation to do so.

Good job uncritically tripping over each other to take a known grifter at face value though, fellow NSGers. You do not embarrass me in the least.

So we don't have any source other than Carlson himself, and the NYT (acronym for the New York Times) has said they're not going to do that....

Well played guys!

Also, "'What if we publicize the home address of every one of the soulless robot editors of The New York Times who assigned and manage this incitement to violence against my family? What about the media editor, Jim Windolf? We could do that. We know who they are."

That's not creepy at all...

"Soulless robot editors"?

Oh, Tucker, it's good to see you didn't lose your fascism when your weird racist incel writer got fired.
