Basically it's punishing people for being responsible.

While all statements have to be predicated with a very big caveat that A) I am not a professional virologist or epidemiologist (it's just a hobby), and B) we don't know the long-term behavior of this virus yet, and probably won't with confidence for at least a couple years:

Almost all of the incidences of "tested positive after testing negative" phenomenon occurred in the days-to-weeks time-frame. The lack of examples of weeks-to-months reinfections indicates that those people were probably just not completely over the virus, and were not reinfected.

I agree with this because If it is true reinfection is possible that would mean it’s unlike any other virus known to exist

Not sure where you heard that. There are several viruses that are known to reinfect people without mutation. Influenza is the most common one, which is one of the challenges with creating a flu vaccine. Hepatitis is another.

This is not to be confused with viruses like the Herpes or Papilloma viruses, which can lie dormant in your body for years or even decades, before resurfacing. That's a whole different thing.

Cold viruses.

I don't know of any confirmed cases of that. The normal trajectory for a cold virus is to infect a patient again through a long string of mutation, which causes the immune system not to recognize it. In effect it is a different virus altogether. This is not the same as what we're talking about.

If covid were demonstrated to have this ability, then cold viruses would be a good example, as coronaviruses are a type of cold virus.

Don't need Ebola. If regular smallpox returned and people reacted like this soon enough the only people alive in the United States would be members of the US Armed Forces with their mandatory vaccinations.

I know. But here in the U.S. covidiots are behaving in the same barbaric way.

Hell, a man with an AK-47 shot at cops after he didn't want to wear a mask. Not to mention numerous employees who have gotten abused (verbally and physically) by these types of people.

I was vaccinated at least once for smallpox. Does it need booster shots?

I thought so, but I remember getting one and I certainly don't remember anything from before I was 3. So I must have had it twice?

I did a blood test recently and according to my report, my Hep A antibodies have more or less vanished. I had to get re-vaccinated and plan to get my booster shot a couple months from now.

I thought smallpox was eradicated in the wild way back in the '70s?

Yes I have no doubt that it'd lead to a rise in Coronavirus parties, similar to the Chickenpox party. Someone hasn't thought this through.
