Your sadly so right. I went home to visit my family for Christmas and Rutland is a hardcore conservative area. My dad said people were legitimately being harassed and publicly bullied simply for wearing masks and gloves or asking for hand sanitizer. Like... seriously... antivirus measures amid a pandemic shouldn’t even be an element of politics.

My dad gets his second dose of the Moderna vaccine next week. Hopefully the side effects will be minimal. I've heard from other people I know that have gotten the vaccine that the second dose is pretty rough (though it still beats catching covid).

It'll definitely make me feel better once he gets fully vaccinated. I've been more worried about him getting covid than I have myself.
