In the Case of a Blue Tsunami

I don't seriously believe that this is how 2020 will play out but I want to examine a worst case scenario for trumpism.

Let's say that the Coronavirus and the economy become uncontrollable by November and not only does Trump lose, but the Senate GOP loses 20 whole seats to the Democrats. The only remaining Republicans are Mitch Mcconnell, Lindsey Graham, and Tom Cotton.

With only 33 seats in the senate after a disastrous 2020, what happens to Trump's biggest cheerleaders and their reputations after just barely surviving the voter's wrath and what happens to the GOP as a whole going forward?

I realize that if things ever got that bad it would be a complete Democratic victory but I wanted to see what people will think would happen to those three after a thorough humiliation in the polls.
