Excellent news. Would be better if landlords were utterly abolished but some progress is better than none.

Section 8 pays 2/3s the rent based off market value in the neighborhood (defined as the point where 40% of the houses are cheaper and 60% more expensive). Theoretically a tenant could afford a very pricey neighborhood with that type of subsidy.

I am not really sure of the law in this area and have to defer to you. I though the tenant had to pay a minimum of 28% of gross income not matter the federal subsidy

yeah there is. And the other issue is they prevent unmarried couples from cohabiting.
