Literally every role affects other peoples' lives. That's what a society is. As Gallo asked, what exactly do you want those people renderred unemployed and probably unemployable to do? Just sit around without a job as their finances slowly melt away due to, you know, expenses that every person has to incur as a consequence of living in a society?

But there are other ways to get cancelled besides social media. Not having social media doesn't eliminate all risk of you getting targeted by bad actors and cancelled. It just reduces likelihood.
