Misconceptions or Questions About Islam and Muslims II

I made the first thread about this a while ago, and it lasted for quite a while, but was locked after it devolved into debates rather than answering questions.

Hello brother (or sister),
Islam is portrayed negatively in media, whether it be through fake stories on Fox News, or CBS reporting more in crimes committed by “Muslims” than crimes committed by other groups. In this thread, I hope to clear up some of the misconceptions and questions I’m sure many on here (including my fellow Muslims) have. As before, no I’m not actually trying to convert you to Islam. That’s not for me to decide.
However, if you do wish to convert to Islam, first: learn at least the basics. Then, go to your local mosque and say this:
أَشهَدُ اَنَا لَا إِلَّهَ إِلَا أَلله، وَ أَشهَدُ اَنَا مُحَمَدَ عَبدُهُ وَ رَسُول أَلله.
“Ashadu anla ilaha il Allah, wa ashadu ana Muhammada ābduhu wa Rasulallah”
I bear witness there is no god by God, and a bear witness Muhammad is His servant and messenger

In a Muslim state, how do you make movies about the Crusades? In the Movie, some of the Characters are Christians, they drink beer and eat pigs. In the Movie the Actors drink fake beer and eat fake pigs, no problem. BUT the way Bilad says it, even fake pigs are verboten.

I mean, I guess it’s good. I don’t eat pigs in Minecraft. But it’s a game, so I think as long as your not going out your way to fill your entire inventory with pork chops, it’s okay in Minecraft.

My parents are from an African country where Islam is only the second largest faith, and as for the Arabs I’m related to on my mother’s side, we don’t even know what country they were from (we think they were either Bedouins in Mali and Algeria from Egypt and Syria or Traders from any Arab country) let alone who there are. I’d assume they’d just use fake stuff, or maybe get Christians to play those parts.
