On a last point, it seems odd that again supposed "ancaps" have a problem with what private companies want to add to their terms of service.

One of the gravest dangers of political discourse online is the tendency for people to take their personal experiences as the way of the world.
That's really not an impediment on NationStatea General, unfottunately.

It's more "Just enough anarchy to let them do what they want and restrict your rights, while trying to profit off capitalism with unfair advantages."

Enough that I would not want to start up such a website.
I think that allowing discrimination against people on grounds of conscience or political affiliation does more harm than the possibility that a few small websites might have to pay a few thousand dollars in legal fees; legal fees that, if they're doing nothing wrong in the first place, they won't have to pay.

Everyone has a right to use Reddit free of harassment, bullying, and threats of violence. Communities and people that incite violence or that promote hate based on identity or vulnerability will be banned.
Marginalized or vulnerable groups include, but are not limited to, groups based on their actual and perceived race, color, religion, national origin, ethnicity, immigration status, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, pregnancy, or disability. These include victims of a major violent event and their families.
While the rule on hate protects such groups, it does not protect all groups or all forms of identity. For example, the rule does not protect groups of people who are in the majority or who promote such attacks of hate.
It's official, Reddit is turning into a reverse Nazi Germany (which is just as bad as the real Nazi Germany). Not to mention, r/BigChungus also got banned. That ALONE is not a good idea in my opinion

WAIT WHAT THE FUCK CHAPO WAS BANNED
But yeah, i agree, this whole "omg we're being oppressed because Facebook doesn't want a giant swastika on their website" is fucking stupid.

We're in a culture war in which each side can often barely remember the other is human so people's ideas of what "should" be banned are way out of step with each other. Boycott campaigns and outrage-farming are going to be the order of the day, so we should expect more knee-jerkery in the future.

They will have to pay. Purgatio's system leaves it up to the courts to decide, which means any lawsuit will be legitimate, meaning each side has to pay their own costs.

Don’t you get the message? They only ban stuff which hurts their feelings or their Chinese donor’s feelings.
If they were actually banning all hate subreddits, they would have banned r/Sino, where posts with racist attacks against white people, Indians, and Russians get upvoted on a daily basis, along with support for the Uyghur genocide and "Gassing the Hong Kong protestors"
But they can’t be banned because China gives Reddit money

There is a proposed internet rule that I agree with.
Before calling your opponents Nazis, commies, fascists etc, show how they fit the description. What about these people made them Nazis, rather than just a little bit further to the right than you might like?

there is no such thing as a right-wing homosexual who is not a crypto-fascist - see Maxim Gorkiy

The toxicity in lgbt spaces towards anybody who leans to the right is highly evident. I've been told, however, that it's nothing compared to the shit that you get for being right-wing and an ethnic minority. You can actually lose friends for suggesting in disability groups that the tories aren't the embodiment of all that is evil.
