Australia: Sydney, Melbourne.

Antarctica: The lab, the other lab. Are there two labs?

"Madrid"
I go there every year. And is probably one of the worst places in Spain I've been. Pollution, loud noises, extreme hot, rude people, lack of trees and people with pets, and lack of pure healthy air and green in general. You have a few parks in Madrid where you can actually see trees (kinda rare). But if you really want to experience Spain, go visit the North, I highly recommend the north, Galicia, Basque Country...
Madrid is okay for staying there a few weeks-months like a tourist, visiting their museums (which are awesome), etc but I won't live there permanently.

Central Mozambique, Cajamarca in Peru, Kabardino-Balkaria, or central Washington state. Basically, reasonably mild temperatures, decent amount of rain, lots of nature, and good mountains.

Preferably someplace with a mild climate and doesn't get a lot of snow.

Somewhere vaguely Mediterranean with warm, sunny summers, and cool (but not freezing), relatively wet winters. Madeira maybe? Coastal Spain? Even parts of Cali? Who knows.

I've grown quite wary of both the oppressive Sonoran Desert and also the fucking always bipolar alpine Mountain climates.

Despite the horrible heat these days, still taking my South Caribbean Valley Country which i live in, i'm used to it and it can be quite pretty sometimes, specially when the heat calms down. I'm a tropical-raised person, but trying the Mediterrean weather is something i want as option.

Oh, I double checked and the Cascades are actually further west than I remembered. I'd want to be on the west side of those, but inland.

Bali island's a great location then, which is also my choice. Monsoon season aren't a problen (afaik), far from potential tsunami, top tier beaches (especially the less well-known ones), and its terrain can even sustain great agriculture. Hell, it's already a great place to live right now (from social and economic PoV) due to Hindu majority and vast amount of liberalism-spreading white Australians.

I tend to find the white Australians to be the absolute worst part of Bali:)

I dont know that the climate in Olympus Mons is all that great though, and since its still active the geology can be rough.

brithis colombia canada, or the sothern tip of the south island of new zealand. switzerland, scandinavia or possibly nepal.

needs to be mountainous, forested, and never getting hotter then 90f and seldom more the 80f (that's my geo and climate top spec).
(don't care how cold it gets or how deep the snow, as long as i can be inside someplace where its warm when it does)

(other things that matter are a culture that doesn't hate logic and universal consideration, transportation that doesn't depend on a car or cities, and not having to indenture yourself to own land in order to build either. and yes i know, if you add those in, there probably isn't any place like that on planet earth)

or basically anyplace that isn't tropical, fascist, or overpopulated. mountainous and forested though, is the main non-cultural thing. no place flat feels quite like home.

Probably somewhere on the British Isles. I don’t mind the rain, and I’ve heard the temperature stays pretty mild in the summer. Plus I’ve seen pictures and it looks gorgeous.

I lived in a place called Bundaberg in southern Queensland, know for Bundaberg Rum and bugger all else really, but the weather was essentially 27 degrees and relatively dry all year around. It really was perfect weather, pity it was located in such a dump of a town.

Banff, AB. Nice temperatures in the summer (i can't stand heat), enough winter, and mountains because i love mountains. Second choice would be somewhere in Scotland, because the highlands are just a really cool place to be and i wouldn't mind the rain.

In Florida the north is the south and the south is the north, so you might have a shorter route out of Dixieland by heading south.
