Yeah, but it feels like in the span of 48 hours, my personal life has devolved into a soap opera. I dont. If a guy doing a donut in a parking lot makes a girl say "I know I said I love you an hour ago but I'm out," she's boring as shit and strict.

Too many people want the perfect mate. They need to understand that it isn't gonna happen and if they keep breaking up with everyone because "you did X thing that I don't agree with or like," they're gonna die alone and heartbroken. As far as im concerned she can try her luck elsewhere. She already broke up with like 4 other guys in the last two years, so I think it's clear we're dealing with a perfectionist. Tough shit, but it's hard for me to sympathize with someone who turned their back on my brother when he loved them to death and was willing to make a million sacrifices for them. She can keep looking for prince charming. She'll have as much success in finding him as Sir Francis Drake had at finding the northwest passage.

Pretty sure someone who is willing to break their back for you is worthwhile. Worthwhile enough to not be a total bitch and ditch them over one action. One thing. She won't even talk to him, and this girl an hour before was telling him she didnt want her parents to dislike him.

You think i ditched relationships over one argument or one action i didn't agree with? No, I tried to make things work. I overlooked alot of stuff. Maybe it's time other people learn that, because you'll never have a lasting relationship if one thing (excluding like murder or something evil as hell) is all it takes to completely end it. Have you tried looking at it from her point of view instead of your own?

She is obviously getting shit about your brother from her parents. She asks him for help dealing with it, and he goes right out and does something juvenile, that is going to piss off her parents and make her life harder. Your brother doesn't respect her needs now, right after she asked him for help. Why should she think he is going to respect them in the future?
