You can train yourself to tell the difference, but someone without that training will never be able to tell the difference consistently if given a blind taste test. Someone who casually drinks sodas, even someone who shows a preference to one can't actually tell the difference without training their tongue to first.

I don't usually like ranking things, it's too much pressure to come up with your definitive hierarchy of things you probably enjoy, but I think I've got beverages down.

1. Water. I probably don't need to explain this one.
2. Lemonade. A good lemonade is refreshing and wonderful. I love lemonade.
3. Milk. I like milk.
4. Tea. I've known sweet tea for my entire life (never drank at as much as my parents, or at all really), but I prefer 'normal' tea. Helps a lot when I'm sick.

We all know water is easily the best. It is nice and refreshing and has no real downsides. Second best is choccy milk. Everything else is simply inferior.

This might sound absurd, but I don't think I've ever had either of them. I've had Mountain Dew (and it's kinda bad) but never Coke or Pepsi.

They're honestly not great. It's a basic soda who's only real upside is something good to mix with a cocktail if you want a soda that doesn't have an overpowering taste. They just have great marketing departments.
