I mean yeah, nostalgia goggles are definitely real. I was basically a kid back then so some things were definitely worse, but on the other hand...no Trump, almost nobody had heard of Facebook, and Halo was still good.

I hang out here instead of social media, because social media is filled with toxicity and stupidity.

The one disadvantage to that is that there are people who remember the stupid things you said years ago, but it's also nice to recognize people.

They're good people, too, for the most part. That's why I actually defended NSG in my region.

One person in my region apparently tried the forums, but decided that people on NSG have hardened hearts. So I could probably also be the only NSG poster in the region.
