Me too. If I judged artists by political disposition/opinion I’d run out of works to support.

The teen blog? Yep, it's associated with Quiverfull -- some of the other things associated with the... erm, movement are here.
Technically, Quiverfull isn't actually a denomination.
FWIW, I don't believe you are Quiverfull. But you do seem to have been seeped in some beliefs linked with Quiverfull. Not least, the "woman at home"... stuff.

It didn't seem extreme enough to be Quiverfull to me. That's odd. And I don't think that's where those beliefs came from. It would be strange if I got my beliefs from people that I don't think I am associated with.

All I meant was that the culture of your church seems not too dissimilar to some of that of Quiverfull, so it wouldn't surprise me if you used some of their materials.

There you are; that's one thing that separates your church -- or, should I say "your family's church (if you're thinking of leaving) -- from the strongest Quiverfull families (i.e. the Duggars), who are always trying to reshape the world in their political image.

It should be very different, I would think, as Quiverfull are meant to hate women or things like that. I wouldn't think that my church would recommend anything associated with them.

If your Church recommended The Rebelution, then they did recommend something associated with Quiverfull. Also, if they recommend Visionary Daughters, Vision Forum, Rod and Staff, Above Rubies...
It's definitely possible to argue that Quiverfull is highly misogynistic -- as they want them subject first to their fathers and then to their husband, bearing children endlessly with no bodily autonomy (no contraception, no abortion, no hysterectomy), being good daughters-at-home -- unable to go to university (unless, possibly, it's an unaccredited Christian one) or work or even date. However, they would argue it's "God's will". They even have a rather facile explanation of woman to account for it: “woman” is a combination of the words “womb” and “man.” Woman means “womb man” or “man with a womb.”1, therefore (as women are capable of having children) childbirth is the "natural use of a woman"
1. Not only is it facile, it's wrong. It's actually from the Old English wīfman, from "wīf" woman/wife and "man" human being/man

The drama over on Something Awful (not that I've ever posted there because it is indeed something awful) reminds me of how forums have been gradually losing ground to social media. Hell, it almost seems abnormal for younger folks to post on a forum these days. I have my own reasons for preferring forums, though admittedly half of it is growing up with forums and the other half is how crappy social media is to begin with.
