That sounds like a great thing to read more about. I have very little liking for JK Rowling anymore.

Hopefully the politics won’t influence the story direction of the Fantastic Beasts movie series :(

Has she never read a Stephen King book?

Like, IT has a child gangbang, Carrie is about PMS and why women on their period are dangerous creatures, and in another one of his books he says a female character got so scared her nipples hardened despite not being cold.

That's pretty weird. I already knew about the IT thing, though. Pretty screwed up. Not calling King a pedo, but it sure is sketchy to say the least.

It was the 80s and King was already a famous and established writer, a minor celebrity.

It's not that most writers are male it's that there's a lot of genre segregation going on, with the most popular genres in this segregation being mostly handled by men.

Men get attached more to action or comedy works while women get more attached to dramas or romance works. It just so happens that the former tends to worm their way into pop culture a lot more than the latter. (And usually the latter gets it for negative reasons)

I don't think so. I do think that less people will be interested in anything associated with JK Rowling, though.
