I have this fear that was recently reignited by reading about black holes, and it's kinda odd but bare with me. So no one knows what happens after death obviously. It's anyone's guess. I'm afraid of basically becoming a ghost and roaming the world forever.

Some may say that isn't so bad because then you get to go wherever you want and see what you wanna see, maybe even chill with friends of yours who also crossed over. But think about the fact it would be for eternity. You would see the future come and go. You'd see millions of years pass and species evolve and go extinct. You'd see the sun burn out and cease. You would see every star in the universe wink out one by one over billions of years. And eventually, they all would vanish and you and every other person who ever lived would be left in eternal, endless darkness. That, or you would experience the big rip and reach the same conclusion or the universe would big crunch and you would have to experience the entire universe come closing in on you. What would that even be like? And is there anything after that? Eternity is hard to comprehend.

I'd say the second is the best of the three. The last two books out of the five are also really good, just not really in the same way.

I went to get ice cream at Xhuliano's ice cream shop again and when I went out and started eating it, his ten year old brother came storming out and asked me "what the fuck are you doing?" I said "eating?" And he pointed to the melting cone and said "you're wasting our shit! You wanna do that, go to dairy queen and you waste what they give you." In a profanity laced tirade straight out of Scarface, this ten year old kid told me not to mess around with "their" business (the shop in many ways is family owned and both Xhuliano and his dad and his sister and a couple of their cousins and another guy who lives with them works there) and stop wasting their product. I told him "money spent is money earned whether I let this cone completely melt or eat it," but he said "don't give me that crap. You're ruining a perfectly good cone you bastard."
