If you're missing two fingers! Shall we have a go at it?
Hang on...

You can't take three from two,
Two is less than three,
So you look at the four in the eights place.
Now that's really four eights,
So you make it three eights,
Regroup, and you change an eight to eight ones
And you add 'em to the two,
And you get one-two base eight,
Which is ten base ten,
And you take away three, that's seven.
Ok?

Now instead of four in the eights place
You've got three,
'Cause you added one,
That is to say, eight, to the two,
But you can't take seven from three,
So you look at the sixty-fours...

Sixty-four? "How did sixty-four get into it?" I hear you cry!
Well, sixty-four is eight squared, don't you see? Well, ya ask a
Silly question, ya get a silly answer!

From the three, you then use one
To make eight ones,
You add those ones to the three,
And you get one-three base eight,
Or, in other words,
In base ten you have eleven,
And you take away seven,
And seven from eleven is four!
Now go back to the sixty-fours,
You're left with two,
And you take away one from two,
And that leaves...?

Now, let's not always see the same hands!
One, that's right.
Whoever got one can stay after the show and clean the erasers.

Hooray for New Math,
New-hoo-hoo Math!
It won't do you a bit of good to review math.
It's so simple,
So very simple,
That only a child can do it!

Come back tomorrow night... we're gonna do fractions!

I wonder how many Tom Lehrer songs we can quote in a single TET without forcing it.

I can't think of many times we'd be able to bring the Masochism Tango into conversation.

Came home and my brother wasn't here. After his breakup with his girlfriend I was worried he did something stupid, but thankfully he is strangely at ifreeze. He replied to my text saying "gotta go back to ifreeze, b-." I said "when will you be home? 11?" No answer.

I realized last night that it's only us. After Melissa fucked him over, I realized that fact.

Close. I do a lot of carpentry, and I didn't really wear earpro regularly until last spring.

I actually think both versions of The Producers are good, in their own ways. The original is an absolute classic, but the film of the musical is still very enjoyable.

Also, can't tell a lie, I kind of like that Ulla had something to do in the remake -- besides dance around in the background in a bikini.

I’d of liked to seen it on stage but there hasn’t been a US production in years as far as I can tell. The filmed version was, alright. Pretty good but clearly meant for the stage.

I need to pick one day of the week where I have to come to work (every other day is at home).

My logic: “I’m in a tired psychological state. So I’m just going to pick the day near the end of the week. It’s closer to the weekend as well and will create a decent rhythm.”

My brother: “if you’re at the center and not at home, then you have less flexibility to use your free time and downtime. Therefore, you should pick the day you have the most assigned work. This will allow you to better utilize the free time over the week. You should calculate how much actual work you are assigned to do each and every day, write it all down, and then choose the day with the most assigned work.”

Its shocking how people look at the same thing and decide based on different things

Well, I admitted to that guy that I liked him. And I wish he would have just said "no thanks," because what he actually said was more disappointing. He basically said he'd be interested in giving it a shot, except that he doesn't do LDRs. So thats just worse than plain rejection.

Tell me... what is the value of an online assessment if the parents are going to help the kids cheat right in front of the teacher?

Why would you cheat anyways? This is a tutoring service, the score is useless (its an assessment, not a test for entrance to schools).
