Most I got entangled with Epic is getting Civ 6 for free last month, which was an absolute steal minus Rise & Fall and Gathering Storm but still great, so I guess I’m thankful to be out of their loop most of the time.


I just downloaded Civ 6 last night. Not quite understanding the districts and whatnot yet, but it's already feeling like a step up from Civ 5 (which I've logged way too many hours into).

I have a 2.4Ghz (3.3Ghz overclocked currently) Intel Processor with 8GB RAM potato of a 2020 laptop that can’t even run things like Fallout 3 or World in Conflict (12+ year old games!) at full settings, at least not without some serious chugging so I have to tone some shit down, sadly.

Tbh I prefer Civ V. I like the evolution of cities better (you can see the cities start to sprawl across the map and the bigger they get), as well as the combat, wonders and worker system. I don’t like the districts or how workers only get a certain amount of builds or how cartoonish units look.
