Highlighters are so satisfying to use (when you press it against printed text... and that sound is made as that smooth quick to dry colored ink comes out).

I used some for marking papers today, they’re so good.

Especially those big Stabilo Boss highlighters. I love how it comes in all colors. I may order a whole set.

My piano teacher would highlight parts of the pages of the pieces she was teaching... the kid version of me wanted to play with the highlighters so every time we had to highlight something (like a fortissimo or a crescendo) I would volunteer.

Yeah I don’t know... your right thought... highlighters result in permanent markings. Pencils are probably wiser (though less fun).

Though I haven’t played in ages, that was decades ago. I stopped after some exam in high school. I don’t think I even have the sheets anymore.
