Now I'm not saying that I took another online quiz to tell me if I'm a lesbian, as that would be ridiculous, but if I did, the fact that it was on Illness Quiz would be a little worrying.

This test you didn't take wouldn't have been on an evangelical website would it? :eyebrow:

Geneviev, no-one -- especially a quiz -- can tell you your sexuality. But, if you realise that you are LGBT+, then it's not an illness.

I wouldn't think so, if I had done something as silly as take such a quiz.

I would hope that it's not an illness. There would be enough problems already.

Friendly reminder that not every Christian believes being LGBT is a sin, Gen.

As you do, and you seem to be facing a confusing time, have a hug.

EDIT: For the sake of onlookers -- although my posting record should make it evident -- the hug is meant as an act of consolation and not for believing that being LGBT is a sin.

Thanks. :)
And I don't think anyone would interpret that as a hug for believing that it's a sin.

Highlighters are so satisfying to use (when you press it against printed text... and that sound is made as that smooth quick to dry colored ink comes out).

I used some for marking papers today, they’re so good.

Especially those big Stabilo Boss highlighters. I love how it comes in all colors. I may order a whole set.

Have you ever tried Bible highlighters? I have a set with a few colors and they're excellent.

I googled it and the set looks pretty good too.

This all reminds me of my childhood when I would play with markers. My piano teacher would highlight parts of the pages of the pieces she was teaching... the kid version of me wanted to play with the highlighters so every time we had to highlight something (like a fortissimo or a crescendo) I would volunteer.

Good times

That sounds like fun. I can't mark my music with highlighters, only pencil, so I didn't have that. Colors are more fun, though.

I had this problem where I would play with bad attention to dynamics, mess up fingering or miss sharps and flats

So the teacher would ask that I highlight

Mostly with yellow but sometimes with blue and green

The teacher would also give me free chocolate at the end of each class

Chocolate is good, but was the teacher not concerned about erasing? Marking with anything other than pencil is treated as complete evil in my choir, because it can't erase.

Yeah I don’t know... your right thought... highlighters result in permanent markings. Pencils are probably wiser (though less fun).

Yeah I guess my music is forever marked with highlights

Though I haven’t played in ages, that was decades ago. I stopped after some exam in high school. I don’t think I even have the sheets anymore.

You play?
