As I understand, he briefly sold NS back in ~2004 and it was a disastrous experience. Ended up buying the site back. I will need to work out a way to convince him to sell. Perhaps he wants to retire.

It in turn lead then subsequently also to a revitalization of NS proper and also the establishment of the attached phpBB forum. The exact details elude me though.
