All the terrible Barca transfers seemed to happen when Bartomeu took charge. The worst offenders are Coutinho, Griezmann, and Arda Turan. Like what were Barca on when they thought getting Turan for 34 million was a good idea?

As the report said, several of Barcelona's strategies were deliberately influenced by Real Madrid. Perez was (or is) known for ridiculous transfers at inflated prices with their Galacticos strategy, some of which failed miserably, and Barcelona followed when Bartomeu joined in 2015.

And of course, players like Riqui Puig and other La Masia graduates can't get enough playing time. Especially with Bartomeu's Arthur-Pjanic deal that got them a 30-year old midfielder unlikely to improve in the future.

The deals, though, are entirely Barcelona's fault. The academy churning out less prospects is Real's intervention since La Fabrica hasn't really shined. You see players like Rodrygo, Vinicius and Reinier all come in from foreign academies instead of Real's own academy.

The Arthur-Pjanic deal made absolutely no sense. They have Riqui Puig ready to go, so why not sell Arthur outright instead?

That's Bartomeu's own, uninfluenced opinion. Basically, a way to sacrifice the player that could take over Iniesta's empty role.

If a Ter Stegen-Buffon switch happened as well as some de Jong-Milner switch, then would we even be surprised considering it's Bartomeu calling the shots?

Those two are of course fake, but the fact that they would have been believable means that Barca's gone deep down the rabbit hole.

Freedom from the city of Manchester is always nice. Many people are still trapped there.

You can't hate on Rashford. He's a great player with a great character.

I suspect he's going to have a stellar scoring year, his confidence must be stratospheric.

I like Liverpool, though I do admire Marcus Rashford a lot.

I don’t like him cause he’s at Man United but off the pitch he’s probably a good lad.

After 8 months of delay, the qualification for the 2020/1 Euro has ended. North Macedonia, Hungary, Slovakia and Scotland have taken the last 4 spots.

I was hoping for Norway to qualify to see Haland perform but Serbia defeated them. I'm glad Scotland are through instead.

Serbia's a decent team so I'm not as surprised. I wished Haland was there though

Probably the most ridiculous thing to happen to my club ever.... I didn't think 2020 could surprise me anymore. How wrong I was.

Looks like this is happening. Voting is now over as of 2 hours ago. Got my vote in super early. Announced at 2pm gmt tomorrow. But I'd be surprised if we hadn't voted for RR takeover. Netflix documentary rags to riches story on the cards. Just hope the vote passes. Unfortunately Jovic has not performed well with Real Madrid and he's facing trouble in his home country over coronavirus breaches. Got a meager fine and no jail time, meaning he doesn't face any consequences.
