Spurs equalised in the second half. Watching it through Prime Video with the VPN off, and DRM had to be enabled for the video. I can still use the "vv.playbackRate" trick.

EDIT: 2-1 to Spurs thanks to Dele Alli.

Turned it around with a couple of individual moments but the team performance wasn't very convincing. Still seem very lethargic.

As does Amazon Prime. Had to restart it twice already due to issues with buffering. Watching Bournemouth v Arsenal now..

And Southampton crushing Chelsea 2-0 with a Redmond finish at 73'.

Amazon Prime doesn't seem to lag even at the highest setting, probably because we live in a cabled street. I never tried watching multiple matches on multiple windows, and I am not sure if anyone has. It will still be a while before streaming catches up with broadcast TV.

Ah yes Arsenal, the most perennially mediocre Premier League team ever.

In other news, Leicester and Liverpool play later tonight. Should be a very good matchup between the top two.

We have breakthrough in the battle of the top two teams: Firmino (No. 9) puts Liverpool in front.

Actually the deficit is growing with Milner (No. 7) at 71', followed by a second Firmino (No. 9) three minutes later… and now Alexander-Arnold (No. 66) another four minutes later.

Liverpool is still calling it too soon: 16 more wins or draws will have Liverpool overtake Arsenal’s unbeaten run. 20 more and Liverpool has an unbeaten season.

Liverpool leads 1-0 against Wolves in the 2nd half: VAR disallows the Wolves goal, but not the Liverpool goal. I predict an escalation in the criticism against VAR.

Edited for my obsession with punctuation.

VAR is going to end up causing violence.

Controversial opinion: the game should have ended 1-1. The Liverpool goal was rightfully allowed and the Wolves goal wrongfully ruled out, imo.

Of course, VAR also ruled out a Sheffield goal that would've helped Liverpool in the title race, but that doesn't help certain people's Red-bashing agenda, nor would pointing out the offsides VAR called against Liverpool versus Watford and Villa. But here's where we find ourselves... ;)

Wolverhampton had a good shot at Liverpool, but VRA stuff goes in.

Crazy thought just now, but why don't we cut players' arms off? No more armpit offsides if you don't have an armpit. ;)

I think VAR has reduced the ability of the referees to make allowances for unavoidable mistakes. It seems that referees are under pressure to follow the rules of the game with a tight grip.

I imagine they're quite useful for balancing when you're moving quickly, for gaining a bit of leverage in aerial battles bad suchlike. In many countries there might also be legal issues with putting that clause into the contracts.

I think it’s evident at this point that VAR can’t even manage to follow its own “clear and obvious” standard and that’s no good for anyone. I want LFC to win, but this one today felt cheap.

Liverpool It's like England's P$G, their advantage is enough to win the minimum Premier in Matchday 30, but in football anything can happen.

No worries, once the ECHR jurisdiction does not contain the UK anymore, EPL clubs can do this to their players :)

In more real terms, I wonder how much leeway the EPL will get with regards to European players after Brexit and the work permit system. Will it be more lenient than for non-EU players, or the same level, in which case we'll have to rely more on home grown talent?

Premier League only with local players? teams with more international players will level down (Liverpool, Chelsea, etc.) while those with more English will not have much change, believe me a long time ago I thought what would happen if all players must play to their country of origin.
