Man City lead Arsenal 1-0 at the half thanks to Raheem Sterling capitalizing on a mistake by David Luiz. Luiz gets a red card and concedes a penalty which is converted by De Bruyne to put City up 2-0. I'd trust a cardboard box to defend better than Luiz.

Mental, the first time in 9000 matches that hawk eye has failed to spot a goal.

He's doing an Arsenal. That speaks for itself.

Fair enough. Arsenal has lost their performance, and their peak is over.

Their defense is more porous than wet paper thanks to a washed-up David Luiz and other terrible players. Bernd Leno has been good in goal, but now he's hurt.

This Brighton supporter apologises to the Arsenal fanbase(if they do have one) for what Maupay did to Leno.
It may have been accidental or not, but our condolences goes out to you.
(on the bright side we're catching up to 14th place)

Leno was their only good defensive player until that injury. Even with a good goalie like him, you need four defenders to help.

That's the point. David Luiz is way past his prime so buying him is like buying a once fresh but now rotten tomato.
Then they had to sell Koscielny. Like, maybe he isn't as good as let's say other Prem defenders, but at least he can help the goalie.
Also why is Mustafi still a thing.

I really don't understand why Mustafi is a thing. Arsenal would be better off buying Phil Jones and a center back from the Championship than their current garbage fire in defense.

Other games that happened besides Liverpool's 4-0 demolition of Crystal Palace:

Newcastle 1-1 Aston Villa
Wolverhampton 1-0 Bournemouth
Norwich 0-1 Everton
Man United 3-0 Sheffield

Wolverhampton and Man United are keeping pace with the spots for the European competition following their wins. Sheffield gets a big blow after their loss.

A City loss or draw against Chelsea means Liverpool clinches the league.
