World of difference :p

We could say UEFA are Slovenian mafia fascists (led by Ceferin) or CONMEBOL is still controlled by the puppet strings of corrupt Brazilians like Joao Havelange.

Anyway, does anyone here actually think that we’re heading into a golden-generation again? I think we are. Every generation recently has had their guns, and from Mbappé to Pedri, we have lots of youngsters these days that could be the next Thierry Henry or the next Xavi (except in Brazil, as far as I’ve seen) and they’re setting records and just look like they could be special.

I feel like the Euros have been like a somewhat passing of the torch.

I'm interested to see how the world cup turns out. can't find anyone who cares about olympic football.

Mostly, Olympic football is just a U23 competition for very raw youngsters with little to no experience internationally. The O23 players picked are mostly those who aren't good enough to get into the senior team.

Unless you are like New Zealand and still call your best O23 players, although it's New Zealand, it's not like they have much chance on paper and their clubs aren't hesitant to letting them go

International sports are much more important here.

I don't know how die hard you'd have to be to care about domestic competitions for anything.

Not only were my club promoted but they're now in the same league as the one my brother supports so this season should be good.

I have a ‘second tier side’
Which is a side that I’ll support from the championship or league one or whatever but the side I supported got promoted (Brentford)
So they’ll just be a team I have a soft spot for because I’m forever Villa faithful.

I'm good with Villa, they took on Dion Dublin who started out at my own club, Cambridge United, back in our glory days of the early 90's.

There must be fans of teams like Bayern, PSG, Juventus, etc. that are tired of winning the league every year or almost every year. Then again, I bet many of the PSG and Juventus fanbase don't care if they win the Ligue 1 every year and keep on strangling the top of the competition for themselves.

Oh man it’s been a minute. Haven’t heard his name in a long time.
I miss the 90s though…

Right anyway here is my list of teams I ‘like’ that isn’t the glorious Aston Villa.
EFL Championship: Nottingham Forest
League One: Bolton Wanderers
League two doesn’t exist
Bundesliga: 1. FC Union Berlin
2. Bundesliga: FC Schalke 04 (fav. German team)
Ligue 1: AS Monaco (fav. French team)
Ligue 2: Paris FC
Serie A: Internazionale Milano (mainly because AC Milan used to/have a bunch of arses on their team, not a plastic, my favoured player on their team is Samir Handanovic) (fav. Italian team)
Serie B: Parma FC.
La Liga: Valencia CF (fav. Spanish team:
La Liga SB: Rayo Vallecano
BWIN Liga Nos: SL Benfica (I don’t have a favourite team I just have a soft spot for Pizzi and hate Pepe.)

No one asked, I answered it for you.

Gosh, well since you didn't ask..

Ligue 1 - Olympique Lyonnaise - I like the city
Bundesliga - FC Köln seem so perennially useless - went to a banging party there once
Serie A - Fiorentina - for some reason my FIFA team
La Liga - also Valencia - Pablo Aimar was a favourite player of mine

I notice just over 2 weeks to go to start the Premier League, can't say I like any team in there - I'll watch Brentford on their long march to relegation though.

Apparently we’re getting a new stadium.

Considering it's Peter Lim, watch the stadium either cost 200% of its original cost or be so dilapidated.

This is -ery much so a big change, but it should be a -ery positi-e one. -olodymyr -elensky and A-o- continue to fight for Ukraine while the Russians are still trying to e-entually make their way to Kharki-, -apori-h-hia, and Kry-yi Rih, but that will take time as they are concentrated in areas like Bakhmut, -uledar, and other areas in Donetsk. We will see Shakhtar play in the Europa League but Dynamo Kyi- already got eliminated. Shakhtar managed to play well against Florentino Pere-'s Real Madrid who feature superstars like -inicius, Ben-ema, Car-ajal, and -al-erde. Some prominent Ukrainian players that got big transfers elsewhere include Oleksander -inchenko, Illya -abarnyi, and Mykhailo Mudryk.

New poll! It's about where Mbappe might potentially end up, either in this transfer window or next! My prediction is that he will end up in Real Madrid sooner or later as they look to bring in more galactico attackers.
In solidarity with Ukraine, I will be censoring the letters Z and V from my signature. Why would you go to Madrid from PSG, doesn't make much sense. Man C would be a better bet though they're seemingly going for Kane.

Other than his agent wanting a cut of fees I don't see much reason for him to move.

Frankly I can't think of an attractive team these days, possibly Liverpool, but what team is even close to standing for a degree of ethical values and exciting play?

Some German team I guess.

PSG does not have much competition in the French league, and they still are overwhelming favorites to win the league by double digits (assuming Lille or some other underdog manages to undercut them). Mbappe would have more to show in a bigger league like in Spain or England. Considering Florentino Perez's wet dream is to buy all the galacticos he can get his hands on, Real Madrid are in hot pursuit for him. Liverpool would be in contention if not for their owners, who have a lower net spend than Brighton, Villa, Everton, Wolverhampton, and even a few Championship teams. The most likely English team to sign him would be Man City, who will obviously find ways to undercut FFP regulations and pay him over 1 million/week.
