So I was not able to find additional newsworthy sources regarding this (Daily Mail apparently did, although I'm not touching them with a ten foot pole), any information regarding this which is more recent than 2012 which refuted the information in these articles, or any information as to the current situation regarding this in Zimbabwe or other African countries...but it is rather disturbing if accurate.

So,

I was not able to find any information on this which is more recent than 2012, which either indicates the media lost interest in it or it has stopped since then, but I have also not been able to find any information which refutes what was apparently occurring in Zimbabwe back then and possibly more recently, although again I don't have enough information to say anything about this happening more recently.

Either way, rather disturbing to say the least.

A judge today ruled that RedState - a partisan blog in the business of attacking Democrats, NOT reporting the news - was exercising their first amendment right by posting nude photos of me in a political takedown. The ruling virtually nullifies CA cyber exploitation laws and is too dangerous to let stand. There is no reasonable “public interest” in publishing revenge porn, no matter who the victim is. Unless we appeal, any woman who may ever be in the public eye is at risk. t’s not going to be easy. This is uncharted legal territory, and this fight is necessary to protect women from revenge porn, once and for all.

This is rather concerning, and I'm rather shocked that this sort of thing isn't being ruled as some form of harassment or something.

Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik announced, "All such unused government property in the block, panchayat and district levels should be handed over to the local Mission Shakti SHGs within two months. Once these assets are under the control of women SHGs, these groups will manage the unused property for the betterment of the locals and society." Pratap Deb, a BJD (Biju Janta Dal) spokesman, commented that this move to give more work to the SHGs would definitely add to their confidence and provide more money in their hands. He opined it is a concrete step towards women empowerment.

A year after Patnaik became the CM of Odisha, he started the Mission Shakti programme and began the formation of these SHGs. The self-help groups were started with the objective to organize women into groups for holistic empowerment and targeted livelihood activities. At present, there are over 6 lakh SHGs in Odisha under Mission Shakti with 70 lakh members, reported The Hindustan Times. The SHGs take loans from banks and provide small non-agricultural loans to their members at a high-interest rate, make packaged ready-to-eat fortified food for children in Anganwadi centres and look after the mid-day meal schemes of state's schools.

Apart from providing small loans, these SHGs are also engaged in a variety of works, including the collection of power tariff from consumers. In May 2019, the state government approved the provisioning of services and goods for various government departments through Mission Shakti, which would provide direct business worth ₹1,000 crores to the SHGs every year. During the COVID-19 lockdown, when dry ration and vegetable shops were shut in rural Odisha, the SHGs distributed more than 9 million cooked meals through the free kitchen centres managed by them in Odisha's gram panchayats.

President Joe Biden will propose a sweeping $1.8 trillion plan Wednesday for national paid family leave, universal pre-kindergarten, free community college and subsidized child care in what would be a dramatic federal expansion of the social safety net for families and children.
Biden is set to formally introduce his American Families Plan at his first address before a joint session of Congress Wednesday night. It's the second piece of his "Build Back Better" economic agenda following the release of a $2.3 trillion infrastructure and jobs plan released last month.

... Needless to say I was kinda flabbergasted when I read about this. I would not be surprised if this was somehow made up for publicity or exaggerated. Even if it wasn't, my condolences to the men and to the women if they were indeed innocent.

Many African countries are, sadly, very conservative and traditional, both from an Evangelical Christian perspective and from a Muslim perspective.

My guess is, Zimbabwe doesn't have any law against women raping men because it's a matriarchal society. East Africa has been a heavily Christian and patriarchal area for centuries now.

It's tragic how patriarchy and hierarchy treads on both men and women, and yet men still proliferate it regardless in the misguided belief that any gender or sex being "dominant" is just fuel for oppression for both sides.

It's my genuine belief. If Mexico's prisons get to capacity to too much of an extent from more bad behaviors being criminalized, police will just be more keen to not enforce that specific law at all, to give priority to other criminals that're more lucrative to punish if not those that're a bigger problem. Too many people don't make the best decisions or are jerks on occasion.
