Most waiters here prefer to work for tips, they make a lot more money than minimum wage.

Do tips have to be taxed?

Yes, but pretty much nobody reports all of them, just reports the credit card ones and enough to avoid suspicion, but then just pockets the rest with no record.

I don't know if it counts but Waffle House. My grandfather used to take me really early in the mornings anytime I stayed over, so I have fond memories.

also, I am not the biggest fan of fast food but if I had to choose one I would go with Burger King
