No; & also, the last time I visited a Chinese restaurant was four years ago.

Frick, I need to try that now. But, it's not available in the Philippines. I'm half sure Italians would scream at our spaghetti variations though.

Also, a quesadilla is basically a tortilla with cheese, meat and a few other vegetables in it.

Pilipinas and Malaya wrote:As for me, my favourite fastfood is either Jollibee or Shake Shack, but since the latter is much more expensive, I usually eat at the first option. Jollibee is a very Filipino thing. When I eat there I usually order a burger steak (yes, you can look it up), but sometimes I would eat a spaghetti or a ChickenjoyTM. KFC is very good too, but I have not eaten there in a while. It would rank lower to me than say Friday's or Chili's, depending on the dish. Pizza is my favourite food, so I will usually go for a Yellow Cab or S&R (S&R is actually a store that also has very renowned pizza, while Yellow Cab is pretty much limited to the Philippines afaik), maybe the occasional Pizza Hut and Shakey's.

Jollibee is as filipino as McDonalds is American. My ex girlfriend used to go there all the time with her friend Kaye, probably more than I went to Casablanca.

How do you think Five Guys stacks up to Shake Shack and In and Out?

Similar market space right? Would they compete?

There was a Five Guys back in Vancouver.

I live in walking distance from an In n Out, Five Guys, Shake Shack, and Steak & Shake.

Wow... you have so much good food places around

Finally, something that Brunei can brag about.

Basically, it's (IIRC) spag, but with cream, chicken (I think) & mushrooms.

So, basically cheese-filling samosas? :p

I like Five Guys a lot. McDonald's has a great dessert menu, ChickFilA has good fries and sandwhiches, Wendy's has good fries and burgers, Domino's has excellent pizza, and Arby's has good sandwiches and curly fries. I also like Subway.

God, I miss Subway. Virtually all of the stores I know are closed.

And one other thing I forgot to mention: they're the only restaurant I know of that serves rice with gravy. :yum:

Oh yes I remember that one!

That one tasted nice.

I really like the green color. There’s something really neat about drinking a green milkshake if that makes sense.

I think those were shamrock shakes.

Smoke's Poutinerie is my personal favorite: I love to order their perogy poutines from there and get it delivered to my door so I can eat their delicious delicious food.

Nah, surely it's pierogi. :P God are there too many spellings, and that's before getting into what other people call them, like vareniki, varenyky, and so on and so on.

But yes, they go great on a poutine.

Alternate spelling. I call them pierogies, others perogy, pierohy and inexplicably "pieroha". No idea where that last term came from.

Interesting, I’ve always wanted to try. It’s not big where I live, in fact, I don’t think you can find.

There’s a fast food version?

Not around here but there are plenty of dine-in places with them on the menu due to our huge Eastern European immigrant population. Plenty of good paprikash too.

I live in the US, but it's strange that the last time I have been to a KFC and McDonalds is in China.

Tried In-N-Out on my last day in California for a spring break vacation. It was really good. Also tried a Whataburger on my way back from New Orleans in Alabama (it was also really good).
