It's why I chuckle to myself when someone dismissed a VP pick based on the mean things that Trump would say about them. Dude, it's an election. There wasn't going to be a VP pick where Trump was going to go, "Oh, them? I guess we should pack it in, folks."

I don't think it will really make much of a difference in the end. If you somehow think that the VP pick is powerful enough to mean that a Biden presidency is in anyway comparable to the 24/7 shitshow that we've been living under for the last four years...well...I'm not sure that's a big coalition. I'm not shaming them, vote your conscience. There just isn't enough undecideds to convince me that it's the tear my shirt and cry to an uncaring universe bad as some might think.
