Well, the most recent Civiqs poll has McConnell leading McGrath 53-33 while he leads Booker 52-38.

Not that big a difference and McConnell still gets the same number but I don’t see any election as written in stone anymore

I never bought into the whole "GOP will die due to changing demographics" thing. The Republicans will try to win those demographics instead, it’s common sense. Why would you continue pursuing a failing policy position when you can pursue a more successful one?

Because changing internal party culture, policy, and direction is hard when mandated top-down.

The great thing about Trump is you don't have to reach months back and recycle stuff like this, just go to twitter and he's delivered five new gems fresh every day.
"...I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in the stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Council-er or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I can't agree with your methods of direct action;" who paternalistically feels he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by the myth of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait until a "more convenient season." -MLK Jr.

This is not the way they should make decisions but Biden/Bass makes a cool sounding yard sign.

I still question how someone like Gabbard or Bernie lost to Biden. And how some people from the left perspective would vote for Biden yet the dude seems more like a centrist "conservative". Seems like cope imo

Its main responsibilities are within the country and include counter-intelligence, internal and border security, counter-terrorism, and surveillance as well as investigating some other types of grave crimes and federal law violations. Cross posted from a place:

People acting like the primary killed the left. Guess what? There was no political left until that crazy old dude showed up. His two campaigns were an an attempt to build one from scratch, with no functioning labor movement to support it. People like to compare leftwing congress primary challengers to the tea party movement to claim that they’re ineffective losers. While it’s true that the left we have has so far not lived up to its potential, it is a threat to the status quo in a way that the tea party really wasn’t and thus there are more powerful forces lined up to stop it. Nonetheless, the signs of life we see bothin the labor movement with some of the recent strikes, and electorally with the the West Virginia, New York, and Kentucky primaries are very real. Although there is a long road ahead, the American political left is likely to play a significantly larger part in the next few decades than it did in the last.

Probably wouldn't be wise for Biden to pick someone from Cali as VP, let alone someone in a district with a partisan index of D+37, one of the most Democratic in the nation.
