Another call:

Dem WY-Senate: Merav Ben-David

So all that's left is one inconsequential primary in Florida and Alaska, which we won't start seeing numbers for for another three hours.

Doesn't Don Young the Dean of the House face a primary challenge?

Yes, but he's not expected to lose tonight. He could lose in November, however.

That would be amazing if he did. Alaska polls have been very close. Biden could become only the second Democrat to carry the state. The only time it voted Democrat for President was 1964.

Your leader Trump mainly caused that.

It will be funny to hear all these Trumpests start talking about how they really weren’t following him...didn’t support him.....sad.

If any Republican loses statewide in Alaska in November, Dan Sullivan is the most likely fall guy. Even Republicans don't think much of him.

The more Democratic Senators the better. if Democrats win the senate this year they will be favored to hold it in 2022 as the map does not favor them at all. Only 12 Democrats are up and only one of those seats is likely competitive

You literally argued that Nixon "bombs Cambodia just because" would have ended involvement in Vietnam after Eisenhower started it and that this somehow made LBJ's Vietnam escalations (smaller in scale than Dick's!) the worst. You have no ground to criticize the neocons when you're a Nixon apologist to own Lyndon Johnson.

Noted paleoconservative hero Warren Harding still might hire you though, there's not much evidence that he had any meaningful screening process.

Neocons are boring. They aren’t the only ones leaving your leader. I will have to give him one thing though. He will probably be the force which turned all branches over to the demos this time around.

Oh, I'll be ecstatic if Sullivan loses. At that point, we're in a position where reach states are falling. Maybe not McConnell, but Georgia, Iowa, South Carolina, maybe even a random reach state... I don't think Mississippi is up this year, but Indiana '08 magnitude.

"Boring" is a funny way to describe bloodthirsty sociopaths who killed 1 million Iraqis, destroyed Afghanisan and Libya, abetted Israel as it interfered in our politics, lied to Americans, developed the surveillance state, and have escalated conflicts in Syria and Ukraine.

Them opposing Trump is a compliment.

Mississippi is up this year. Cindy Hyde Smith is running for a full term and faces former Agriculture Secretary and 2018 nominee Mike Epsy and polls show it within the margin of error .

Right. That's why I thought of it, special elections being harder to keep track of. Yeah, if we eke out wins in Alaska or Mississippi we're probably winning in a lot of places.

Strangely, noted anti-neocon Bear Stearns is still not on the record as opposing Nixon's frivolous escalation of an entangling war under false pretenses that he, Bear Stearns, was very against when Lyndon Johnson was president.

If we win both Mississippi and Alaska we are looking at looking at close to a 1964 level blowout and close to or a filibuster proof majority in the senate. The damage in state legislatures will be massive. Republicans will likely be out of power in Congress and many state legislatures through the end of the decade.

Yes, that was a common thing neocons said to deal with opposition to the war. Anyone with a brain could have seen that. Supporting the troops means not expending their lives in dubious conflicts that have little to no American interest.
