Returns from MN-5, Ilhan Omar with 57% to 40% for her main opponent who was bankrolled by corporate and Israel lobby interests. 90% reporting and who knows how many absentee ballots out, they are valid if received by this Thursday, but it looks like the last Squad member has turned back a fairly major challenge and should be in the House as long as she wants to be.

There were 343,358 cast in 2018, so still a ways to go, but it looks like Rep. Omar is hanging on for another two years.

Unless my boy Les Lester can pull off a come-from-behind victory.

Lester responded with this when Ballotopedia asked what the key message is of his campaign:
The current system of commerce is based on scarcity, reminiscent of a time when there was no safety net and economic failure devolved one's life to wretchedness. In the 21st century, we have an opportunity perhaps for the first time to pool the nations, and the world's resources for the greatest good of all.

Peterson is going to face a very tough challenge from Fischbach. She was a state Senator and briefly served as Lieutenant Governor after Tina Smith was appointed to the senate

Only 135,318 in the2018 DFL primary tho. Barring some kind of massive mail-in ballot fraud (/s) Ilhan's the one.

When Fischbach was first elected to the Paynesville City Council Peterson was in his third term in Congress. Age and treachery will always defeat (relative) youth and skill.
