No, you wanna know where ill be? Protesting. Like I did and will always do. I've lost faith in this system completely like millions of others, and Biden and Harris won't be any sort of savior.

A second trump term would be even worse

Once again, Trump has the news against him, and he is a disorganized dumbass. Harris is organized and the news has been basically praising her. I would rather have evil that is opposed by most than evil that is accepted by the powers that be entirely. We've been voting for lesser evils for years and look at the world.

Understand no matter who you vote for that there is no happy ending to this. There's no way this plays out where we all live happily ever after and the world is saved from the brink. 2021 onward is probably gonna be more of 2020, whether it's Biden or Trump. Just hope everyone knows that so they aren't disappointed when things don't turn out so great.

Hence my ongoing plan to learn Finnish and eventually escape by raft to Helsinki and claim political refugee status

I encourage you to vote for someone you'd find palatable, even if they have no chance of winning.

Turnout is so low in the United States that not voting is seen as the default, not a protest.

Who’s excited for 4 more years of Trump? I know I’m not!

Biden had so much momentum, a screwed up pandemic, and positioning himself as the BLM candidate… until he picked the very embodiment of what BLM claims to be protesting against.

Not like I was going to vote for him anyways, just an observation

Not voting doesn’t make your voice heard

You see people like myself protest. Our voices get heard more than people who just vote and go home because we literally are out there yelling in microphones.

Your voice won't be heard by just playing along in the monopoly game called American elections. It aint like that.

Supported Warren, but will vote Biden regardless.

I supported Sanders. I’ll be voting Biden, begrudgingly. But with the hope that with a more progressive congress it will be easier to get progressive things passed with Biden in charge than Trump

Yes, that is generally how it works. Generally you want to protest and then vote for those who can better your interests. See the Civil Rights Movement and JFK/LBJ's ascension to power.

This is the problem with modern protesters, a lack of organization both within and outside the system.

You're written off as apathetic, your lack of a vote for 'principled' reasons just goes in the pile of non-voters who didn't vote because they didn't feel like it weren't engaged whatever.

Collective action gets the goods, personal protests just get you laid in college.

The next sane or presidential president will have more to undo because of Trump's disorder and chaos but on the flip side, there would be no worries about gun control. Biden was for the 90s crime bill, Harris was for it, so they're on the same page. Just that Harris checks all the boxes in terms of what Democrats want superficially. A Black Minority Woman. It makes sense now why Biden picked her.

Will it help or hurt him more, remains to be seen.

Sounds like the time Maryland used the national guard to guard its N-95 masks from federal agents sent by Trump to take them.

Think they'd do the same to protect the ballots?
