Once again, Trump has the news against him, and he is a disorganized dumbass. Harris is organized and the news has been basically praising her. I would rather have evil that is opposed by most than evil that is accepted by the powers that be entirely. We've been voting for lesser evils for years and look at the world.

I voted for bernie. I would have voted for yang or Warren or gabbard too. I originally wanted Richard Ojeda. I was willing to compromise with biden if he picked Warren or duckworth. Instead he did this, so I'm not voting. I think it's been made abundantly clear that many people would rather virtue signal about wanting change than actually taking steps toward it.

Supported Warren, but will vote Biden regardless.

I supported Sanders. I’ll be voting Biden, begrudgingly. But with the hope that with a more progressive congress it will be easier to get progressive things passed with Biden in charge than Trump

Yes, that is generally how it works. Generally you want to protest and then vote for those who can better your interests. See the Civil Rights Movement and JFK/LBJ's ascension to power.

You're written off as apathetic, your lack of a vote for 'principled' reasons just goes in the pile of non-voters who didn't vote because they didn't feel like it weren't engaged whatever.

Major Ojeda is one of the few people I genuinely respect in US politics, although that might be an "army brotherhood" thing

The next sane or presidential president will have more to undo because of Trump's disorder and chaos but on the flip side, there would be no worries about gun control. Biden was for the 90s crime bill, Harris was for it, so they're on the same page. Just that Harris checks all the boxes in terms of what Democrats want superficially. A Black Minority Woman. It makes sense now why Biden picked her.

Will it help or hurt him more, remains to be seen.

If Trump does manage to get the DHS to stand by polling places in November in areas he's unpopular, is there any chance that governors will use the national guard to prevent voter intimidation?

Sounds like the time Maryland used the national guard to guard its N-95 masks from federal agents sent by Trump to take them.

Some large companies will subsidize all of the cost. I'd be pursuing either a graduate program or a doctorate anyway, so it would be less expensive than a typical 4-year degree.
