Trump;s comments on suburbs seem to be backfiring badly

It absolutely has: the only Suburban Voters Trump is getting are those fully committed to him, like my family who will vote Republican regardless of how atrocious the Republican Candidate is. They even believe Democrats will destroy the suburbs- Trump said so himself. They have been preaching Trump's words for quite a while now. In their minds, Biden will destroy the country.

Trump made the same play on racial/cultural fears in 2018 and that didn't work out too well- well, maybe it saved the Senate but the down fall of those Senate Candidates was their rejection of Kavanaugh. Trump's strategy isn't going to work again, and it'll likely be worst.

Trump being atrocious or not is based on personal, different, economic, political and social views. Biden destroying the nation or not, is based on personal, different, economic, political and social views.

Yes, I suppose you are technically correct. I suppose there are some mentally ill persons who are eligible to vote and have the ability to vote. But the posters who post this mean Hillary supporters are mentally ill persons. Trump supporters are mentally ill persons. The problem with your source is the fact it’s a propaganda engine. Propaganda isn’t concerned with explaining the picture.

It starts out with you are ignorant unless you do not blame China for covid and of course ties Biden into it. The problem? Its a waste of time at this juncture. It accomplishes little and the only purpose this argument even exists is for Trump to try and distract from his lack of management with the pandemic.

We then jump into how Biden voted to grant China most favored nation status and including into the WTO. The problem? This had been going on for a while. There were doing favored trade agreements back in the 80s which was under Reagan. Most favored happened a few times during the 90s. Bush, Clinton, Bush W. It was made permanent in 2001 (bush w).

Blaming Biden for this is dishonest. If you want to punish people; you must go after the business leaders who gleefully set up shop in China. Then of course you must go after the American people as we do like our stuff as cheap as possible. I digress.

Again, this is a propaganda piece trying to distract from Trumps lack of ability to manage the pandemic.

As a good propaganda piece, it makes a major effort with the failings of the WHO:

The problem? We do not know their tests and it is rather presumptuous to assume our guys were going to accept that answer just because.

The problem? That was aimed at Chinese nationals and took little for consideration on other people returning. It was claimed they were held in isolation and this was not exactly true. Hmmm Fauci is acceptable when he supports the administration’s message. That kind of sounds like propaganda. Fauci did say it was a good thing as part of many things.

Banning Chinese travel wasn’t a solution.

Of course, there is more about trying to blame China about what should have happened, etc., etc. For propaganda purposes, it is useful for trying to distract from Trumps lack of management of the pandemic. There is no argument people messed up and we should review, learn and plan for the next one. Such a plan would need China’s involvement. It does not help if the attention is all “China you mother fucker!”

It should of never been competitive for Trump in the first place. Iowa voted to the right of TX in 2016.

Also, just because a state is competitive on the presidential level, doesn't mean it will be on a congressional level. Ernst is an incumbent in a lean red state and should be winning comfortably. Similar to Peters in MI.
