I hope the world retroactively takes action against the United States for the Spanish flu too, while we're at it.

Did America actively lie and suppress statistics ... causing the global spread of the pandemic during the Spanish Flu?

Actually, nations on both sides of WW1, including the United States censored news about the flu to keep up morale - both in their armies and in their citizenry. It's called the Spanish Flu simply because Spain - a country at peacetime during WW1 - reported the news publicly first, after their King fell ill when it swept through their nation in the Spring of 1918.

Spanish media continued reporting on it while the United States and other nations involved in the war censored news about its spread, going so far as to declare the whole thing over in July of that year, a month before the second wave killed millions. A second wave that, perhaps, people could've been prepared for.

Sure, we can get into semantics of whether hiding the truth is considered lying. I don't think it is, but it's equally as bad.

and arrest doctors to prevent bad image

There was a shortage of physicians in America at the time, due to the war, and after the hospitals filled up, makeshift hospitals were staffed by medical students, not doctors. If we wanted to arrest Doctors, we'd have to hunt them down lol.

I think both the Republican Party and the Democratic Party have such supporters, but I would not use the word as described above. Yes, I did it again, both sides have it, both sides do it, and it is a logical, objective reality fact. As in like Spock the Vulcan from Star Trek, the original.

1) I seriously doubt that Mr. Spock, a man who devoted much of his existence to logic & reason, would vote Republican in 2020.
2) Mr. Spock would likely believe that the needs of the many (American citizens exposed to Covid-19) outweigh the needs of the few (Donald Trump & his cronies).
3) There are many real Americans who will take a Spock-like tack in this election & see Joe Biden & the Democrats as the best logical choice.

Biden is speaking of Delaware as the corporate state, which it is. I think Joe is signaling his expectations are to see improvements in corporate responsibility. That's good. But he's also talking about "re-imagining and rebuilding a new American economy" if you look at the download. So this is Joe sweet talking them politically for financial support and asking for their help after the election to build a better economy that deals people in. That's how a Dem needs to talk to business leaders if he wants to get elected.

I got whiplash hearing a Lumen argument from somebody other than Lumen. But hey, I liked Beto before his presidential run - both of them? Didn't he randomly relaunch his campaign in the middle of his campaign? Does that count as two runs?
