Sen. Jodi Ernst (R-IA) is running such a terrible campaign. She really made Iowa in play for the Democrats. She is the Mark Udall (D-CO) of the 2020 election.

Kansas might surprise people. The two top Republicans; Dr. Roger Marshall and Kris Kobach are being out-raised by the Democrat Dr. Barbara Boiler, even when you combined their money. If Kobach wins the primary, Dems could easily take Kansas. Kobach was rejected by KS voters in the 2018 gubernatorial election.

It's also important to note the Boiler was a Republican up until 2018, so she does have moderate blood and Republican roots.

The Lincoln project is run by warhawks who supported the Iraq war, and probably wanted Trump to send a full on D-Day invasion force to Tehran in January

Eeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhh, I don't like this one mostly because of the swing on the back end. The hacky cynical tone deaf callous opportunistic sleaziness of trying to mine schadenfreude for your favorite political target out of the Epstien case is just fucking sleazy and disrespectful to the legitimate victims who by the way can hear us (not us on NSG, what in the holy fuck would they be doing here, but these fucked off attempts to dunk by association instead of focusing on, you know, a guy who pimped out underage women) Money likes money, politics like money, Epstien had a mysterious amount of money, Trump would be around him, Clinton would be around him. By most non-opportunistic accounts both of them cut their ties with Epstien before his legal troubles and both because the dude weirded them out.

That Trump doesn't seem to see it as that big of a problem is telling, but instead of speculating on this connection from rich dudes photographed at rich dude parties, we have him bragging into a microphone about being able to barge into Miss Teen USA dressing rooms. We don't have to cast our line in troubled waters, like many things his dumb ass flopped up onto the dock all on his own.

This one had me feeling a bit uncomfortable too. They say all is fair in love and war, and Epstein's obsession with pedophilia is perverted and the insinuation is the lowest of low blows to be sure. Otoh I'm damn sure if roles were reversed Trump would have no qualms in making the same allegations as in the ad with the difference being he'd say it himself and repeat it over and over and over again. He wouldn't want any surrogate group such as the Lincoln Project messaging this bc he enjoys slinging the fecal matters much too much.

I have to take attempts to ban other parties seriously, my anxiety is constantly making me paranoid that we're a week away from the Enabling Act, or at least an attempt at it.
Is this rational? Probably not and I don't pretend it is, but all I have to do at home is watch the news and it's freaking me out.
