Yes, I saw the context after I posted this and re-read it, I was just curious if there was any, that's all.

Not to mention, Kissinger I'm pretty sure despises Trump's foreign policy views.

I was going to post something similar. If I had to guess; I think Kissinger will be quiet on this one. He would have to explain his comments about Trump being great.

Not like Kissinger would ever support Biden anyway.

Anything Kissinger does would have to be preceded by the explination that Kissinger is still alive and then whatever he says after that will be overshadowed by speculation on what horrific ritual is keeping him that way.
"...I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in the stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Council-er or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I can't agree with your methods of direct action;" who paternalistically feels he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by the myth of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait until a "more convenient season." -MLK Jr.

Biden says four Black women are on his VP finalist list, but won't commit to choosing one, which makes sense given he wants to make the right choice. If we are to take a crack at who these four Black women are, I would guess these people:

Kamala Harris
Susan Rice
Karen Bass
Val Demings

Bottoms might be one too but that is tough to say. And the likes of Abrams have basically fell off the cliff, and considerations. If I had to guess, it's probably going to be a Black woman at this point: I'd be somewhat surprised if he didn't select one of these four.

I would be happy to have had Duckworth, I think she has an excellent credentials of her record. Bass seems to be a good choice to go for. Not sure about Harris or Demnings nor Rice.

Trump may have to actually try in this election season. Biden is unlikely to win however this election will be more polarized than any election in modern American history.

He's not committing because two of his three best finalists are white women. That doesn't mean he won't end up choosing a Black woman (Bass is his best option appropos, Harris his worst), but I'd guess he's leaking this because he's not leaning in that direction.

Based on what evidence? Given that he's currently eviscerating Trump in the polls.

And I expect your response to be more nuanced than just "but 2016".

Speaking of polling:

Polls show Trump's advantage over Biden on the economy evaporates as coronavirus cases climb

President Donald Trump's advantage on the economy over presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden has largely disappeared since the COVID-19 pandemic began, according to two polls released Sunday.

In March, an ABC News/Washington Post poll found Trump ahead by 12 percentage points over Biden among Americans when it came to whom they trusted more to handle the economy. But a new ABC NEWS/Washington Post poll found Trump's lead has shrunk to two percentage-points, 47%-45%. And the March poll found Americans approved of the job Trump was doing on the economy by a 19-point margin, 57%-38%, while Sunday's poll found that margin had shrunk to 3 points, 50%-47%.

Separately, a Fox News poll released Sunday found Biden with a one-point lead, 44%-43%, over Trump when voters were asked whom they trusted to do a better job on the economy. A Fox News poll in May had found Trump leading Biden on that question, 45%-42%. In the recent poll, voters were split 47%-47% on the job Trump was doing on the economy, marking the first time the poll did not find a plurality of voters approving of his handling of the economy since April 2018.

You don't think the evil geniuses can come up with something for Biden/Bottoms ?

The answer is in the post.

"Trump may have to actually try in this election"
Trump didn't even have to try, beating Clinton (false)
He's losing now because he isn't trying, yet (false)
When he puts some effort in, he will beat Biden (unproven)

I like the implication that Trump is a massive slacker who won't get off his ass even when he's the President.
But I don't think it's true. I think what we're getting from him, is all he's got.

I thought Kanye liked Trump? Why is he trying to be a 'spoiler candidate' for him now, then? Or is he just stupid enough to think he can wrestle the populist vote away from Trump?

Kanye just pretended to like Trump to get into the Oval Office and rant Kanye stuff at him for half an hour.

I'm guessing Trump never wants to see or hear about Kanye ever again ... but he will *cackle*

Finally saw the Trump ad yesterday showing footage of protests, riots, and "lawlessness" with the claim that it'll be what Biden's America looks like and you won't be safe.

The funny thing is all the footage is from Trump's America.
