He definitely can. It would nice to see the democrats win back a few more seats in southern Georgia

A win in GA-7 will bring the US House delegation to 8R, 6D for Georgia, reflecting their partisan makeup really well.

Depending on turnout in South Georgia the democrats could flip the 12th, which was democrat back in 15, which would mean that you’d have 7R and 7D

I'll watch it later but based on the title, I can assume it's talking about how the polls are overstating Biden's support and the fact it's a closer race. While true, the current picture isn't pretty for Trump. Not to mention, it's expected we'll see a tightening of the race come October: that's a given. But if polls continue to show Biden leading by 5+ points by that point, that doesn't bold well for Trump.

Georgia going blue this year is definitely a possibility. And that’s without any polling

Right wing? Hardly. Trump strikes me as no more than an opportunist Being right wing implies Trump actually believes in something other than himself. He's transcended the political compass.

It both bodes well for Biden, and in some cases, it bodes pretty poorly for him. All he has to do is translate anger towards Trump into a winning coalition, IE, making sure turnout is stellar, if he fails to do so, then it's dire for him. If he succeeds, his chances are pretty damn high.

This isn't an '88 or '04 election where the race changes dramatically over the course of the election season, I expect the eventual margin for either victor to be less than 5%.

The thing is, if Biden wins, the anti-Trump coalition will fall apart before the end of January.

Naturally. It'll still be a chaotic mess, but substantially less so than the last few years.

There has been a lot of talk of him only serving one term and his VP bring the nominee in 2024

Makes sense. If it wasn't for what we're up against, I'd honestly say Biden's too old for the presidency now.

I find it interesting that he has not openly said he will only serve one term, it would probably go a long way to convince left wing progressives as well as disaffected Republicans to support him.

Is it time for more ballot measures? It's always time for more ballot measures!

California: Another measure going on the ballot would improve standards for dialysis clinics. Clinics would now be required to have at least one physician on-site while treatments are taking place, report all data on dialysis-related infections at each clinic, obtain consent from the Department of Public Heath before closing clinics, and ban discrimination of patients based on payment sources.

Colorado: Proposal number seven would change how property taxes are levied. Since the Gallagher Amendment was passed in 1982, the state is required to have 55% of all property tax revenue come from non-residential sources with the remaining 45% coming from residences. This measure would strip that requirement from the constitution, allowing any proportions that may arise. A companion bill would freeze tax assessments and prohibit the legislature from changing them, leaving the current levels of 29% for non-residential property and 7.15% for residential property.

That's a narrow margin and it's June. Plus, it's just *a* poll, a lot of things can change between pollsters and in aggregate.

I'm sure you could hazard a guess as to what the complaints are, though. Something to the effect of Republicans aren't an equal sampling as Democrats and this is unfair, which itself ignores the fact there are more registered Democrats than Republicans so random sampling would catch that.

Multiple polls going back a month or so show Biden in the lead in GA.
