Weirdos

Why not all of the above? I like me a "garbage can pizza" -- black olives, peppers, onions, banana peppers, mushrooms, pepperoni and sausage with the normal cheese and tomato sauce.

Minskiev wrote:Mmm figs are delicious.

You know what else sounds disgusting, but is actually SOO good? Rhubarb. Rhubarb and strawberry pies are easily a top 5 pie.

Yes. But DON'T eat the rhubarb leaves, only the stems.

I've made a black cherry/rhubarb reduction to go over roasted duck breast; it was divine.

Minskiev wrote:Anyways, do you like green olives or black olives more? However, is preferring green olives over black olives racist? We shall figure this out.

Different olives for different things. In some salads and on pizza I prefer black olives. In seasoned chopped meat and Piñón, the green manzanilla olives, preferably stuffed with pimiento, stands up better and is more savory.

I've always used black olives for cooking, and eaten the green stuffed ones as a snack or in martinis.

And do you use olive oil?

I use olive oil in all things, even steaks :)

Yes, love my olive oil. Shame Brexit is making it much more expensive.

This company -- unfortunately, I think they went out of business -- used to do these brilliant gluten-free vegetable pizzas with peppers and onion and I think there was some aubergine on there and something a green vegetable that currently escapes my memory (I found them at a gluten-free food fair), with the cheese and tomato sauce.

Even the best gluten-free bases available now can't quite compete to those.

Food prices seem to be going up already; the bill seems to rise each week.

I love olive oil, too. It's a cooking staple for me -- especially marinades and dressings. Although, some recipes call for sunflower oil, so I have both. They're both pretty healthy apparently (as long as you're not guzzling the stuff like wine :p ), I looked it up.

I despise breakfast sausage -- it has a chemical taste to me. I can't imagine it being cold improving it.

Egg McMuffin and hash browns for me, though.

No but I have tried frogs, snails, and ostrich meat :)

You recommend horse meat?

I've had boar, venison (both deer and elk), escargot, ostrich, and alligator tail meat, to name a few.

I once bought a crow pie at a food festival. It's something I regretted.

I would imagine.... I don't think I'd try a carrion eater.

Oh, I tried bear sausage, too. Incredibly greasy and gamey, though cut a LOT with barley. Not a fan.

To answer the poll question, it's a toss-up between rum and raisin or clotted cream ice cream.

Does rum raisin have real rum? I don’t wanna get drunk eating ice cream.
