I’m almost certain is the use of cane sugar.

Yeah, it's America's obsession of substituting with high fructose corn syrup in everything. They do it because it's dirt cheap but I'm not even sure if those savings get passed on to the consumer.

Lemon trees are pretty easy to grow indoors, as long as you have a spot where they'll get some sun. And yes, the flowers do smell amazing.

Question for everyone: how do you make your curry? Is there a spice level, consistency, special ingredients you enjoy?

I use coriander, cumin, red pepper, ground mustard, cayenne pepper, pepper, paprika, onion powder or diced and carmelized onions, garlic powder or cloves, freshly diced tomatoes, rosemary (small amount), fresh cilantro, soy sauce (small amount), water (small amount), red wine, chicken broth, sliced mushrooms, olive oil, and hot sauce. I mix these together and begin simmering them in a large skillet.

I chop up the chicken and brown it on another skillet, before draining the grease. Then I toss it into the curry sauce. Once the temperature is to my liking and the spices are dispersed in the broth, I begin adding flour until the broth thickens into a proper curry sauce, stirring to ensure that the flour doesn't clump too much. The smell becomes very strong, but is warm and savory. I just have to be careful not to get too close or I'll sneeze up a storm. When it thickens sufficiently, it's ready to serve.

I tend to pour it over a bed of freshly steamed rice and assorted steamed vegetables. Sliced carrots, cabbage, kale, bell peppers, and zucchinis/squash are good choices. I like my sauce to be comparatively thick (so that it clings to the chicken and vegetables) and spicy. I want to add coconut milk next time I make it - and drop the red wine. I should probably broaden my recipe to include cloves, ginger, cinammon, and cardamon at some point, but I haven't really gotten around to that yet.

I use lemons in a lot of recipes too. I tend to use olive oil and lemon juice in salads for instance.

This is a very good poll and a close one for me. I love chocolate.

Cookie and cream (the white) Hershey, Kit Kat, Twix and standard Cadbury are all strong contenders with me. However, I think Lindor White chocolate has a slight edge over the group. It’s not by much but it’s there.
