I have a special affinity for black garlic in particular, but I almost never see it being used in food; if I knew a good source for it, I'd try using it myself sometime.

Chartreuse is my favorite color.

Who in God's green earth would bake bolognese, except maybe if it's being used in lasagna or something?

If I were Italian I'd probably view that as a war crime.

Oh it’s a common fast food take out here in Hong Kong

Of course, the pasta and it’s sauce is very localized (doesn’t have the North American/European taste); it’s been reworked as a fast food

Baked Bolognese looks like a nice munchie meal. Just add pasilla, anaheim, and bell (red, green, orange, & yellow) peppers with heaps of garlic and sliced tomatoes; it'll be a perfect munchie meal

I agree. I'm not a huge basil fan, anyway, but I really don't like dry basil at all. Fresh basil is just lighter, more fragrant than strong.

Ah, my favourite Basil.

Script, cast and comedy timing all prepared with love, cooked to perfection by the BBC and served to delighted audiences.

Nothing faulty about that confection at all.

I see; I don't recall ever having something like that when I was in Hong Kong, although it's definitely been a while since then.

I see... you can get it from Cafe de Corale :)

Seasonally, phases in and out of HK menus

Maybe once the pandemic finally peters out and the situation in HK calms down, I'll try to find that place on my next trip there; honestly, I'd go back just to have a traditional Hong Kong breakfast and eat at one of the few remaining dai pai dongs in the city.

I've been brewing my own naicha at home, but I'm not experienced enough to make stuff like Cantonese egg tarts yet...
