I like pumpkin seeds as well. I'd always max out on it at the buffet salad section if it's a thing.

Pumpkin cream soup is great. However, you can also make a pumpkin (non-cream) soup where its mostly made with sugar water and pumpkins.

I would also like to try pumpkin juice someday, I hear it's a thing in Harry Potter. =)

Idk. I remember the time when the dalgona coffee trend was going around. I am not fond of coffee but it was quite good.
Early quarantine was so long ago

I like coffee and I only drink it once in a while.

But for some reason it causes my blood rush to speed up dramatically... and I just feel extremely high up.

Tea doesn't do this, but somehow coffee does for me

Ah... macaroni-cauliflower-cheese.

I love cheese, but not cauliflower. I've never found a way to make myself like it.

No offence Shwe, but you've reminded me that I forgot something on my dislike list -- pumpkin and squash. Just don't get on with the texture. I get on fine with others in the gourd family -- melons and cucumbers, for example.

Also, sweet potatoes. Again, it's a texture thing. Even a baked one tends to be far too soggy for my taste.

I hate sweet potatoes, I was once on a hiring committee and I said this, and the woman from HR said "don't you say that till you have had my sweet potato pie".

2 days later she comes in with her sweet potato pie. She did not lie, that freaking pie was outstanding. I can still remember how good it was.

I've never tried.

But now that you say this, I must give it a shot

Sweet potato casserole is very tasty and I say you should give it a try. It is sweet potatoes with marshmallows on top. Very yummy!

Maybe it's a company HR trade secret. =)

Only they know the hidden black art of turning sweet potatoes into delicious pies

I am also not a fan of sweet potatoes.

This pie sounds good, I'll reconsider your offer to work in the USA :p

What about broccoli in baked yellow cheese with a touch of pumpkin sauce?

It’s one of my mom’s favorites

That's a pretty good sign. It's the plan for tomorrow now.

I find the balance of milk to be very tricky

It’s very easy for it to taste too milky but then add too little, and it may chunk

That explains it. I was always told "don't add too much milk or it will be watery". Well look what happened.

It’s really tricky.

Did you make from actual potatoes or did you use the mash potato mix packs?

Both require a careful balancing of water and milk etc

I only add a little milk and then butter, and that works.
