I say soda. The older generation in my area say soft drink & sweet milk (regular, non buttermilk).

Since most people are talking about sodas, how about a soda poll?

This is strictly limited to any carbonated drink.

I think it's just for old times sake. Back in middle school my math teacher mythologized Mountain Dew as the ultimate soda.

It's a very rare drink here in Hong Kong and only very occasionally can I get to drink it. That teacher brought the Mountain Dew to class as a reward 2-3 times over several years. I think I may have been programmed to think that it's a top tier soda somehow.

Mountain Dew is quite a good-tasting soda, but there’s no way I’d have it frequently.

However, a quality ginger ale? That I’d have every day. Dr. Pepper’s too sweet, cream soda is alright, and Coke is meh.

I prefer ginger ale when I can because of how weak my digestive is, or Brisk Iced Tea, but that's not carbonated.
