Speaking of carnivorous fish, my uncle recently got grass carp to clean up his pond automatically.
Yeah, they’re not carnivorous, but they’re fish.

Sharks are a group of elasmobranch fish characterized by a cartilaginous skeleton, five to seven gill slits on the sides of the head, and pectoral fins that are not fused to the head. Modern sharks are classified within the clade Selachimorpha (or Selachii) and are the sister group to the rays. However, the term "shark" has also been used for extinct members of the subclass Elasmobranchii outside the Selachimorpha, such as Cladoselache and Xenacanthus, as well as other Chondrichthyes such as the holocephalid eugenedontidans.
So there.

So there.
But there is no scales.

Sort of is ...
Placoid (pointed, tooth-shaped) scales are found in the cartilaginous fishes: sharks, rays. They are also called dermal denticles. Placoid scales are structurally homologous with vertebrate teeth ("denticle" translates to "small tooth"), having a central pulp cavity supplied with blood vessels, surrounded by a conical layer of dentine, all of which sits on top of a rectangular basal plate that rests on the dermis. The outermost layer is composed of vitrodentine, a largely inorganic enamel-like substance. Placoid scales cannot grow in size, but rather more scales are added as the fish increases in size.

Accordingly, we can now afford higher vote target requirements for each poll
We’re making something historic (or as historic as things can get on NSG)
Indeed. That is why I upgraded the amount needed for a new poll where one option is allowed to be picked per nation from 60 to 70.

I think he was thinking of the Maasai.
I'm practically certain no one can capture a fully grown great white shark with their bare hands.

No great whites near Scandinavia.
Besides, experience shows that Vikings don't wrestle sharks. We turn them into horrible food.
