Do you identify more with Germany or the USA?

Both, I think. I know where I'm from, but I love America and care about the nation as a whole more. I also have more memories here by now.

I see...

My ideal sandwich: bacon and bread. Then you eat the bacon, and you're left with bread.

Neutraligon wrote:Crab cake sandwich or a lobster roll, sooooo good. The crabcake has to be MD style crabcake. One of my favorite places to get it is the Fish market in Old town Alexandria, Virginia, with their hushpuppies

I want a crab cake sandwich! Only have the stuff to make hushpuppies. Love hushpuppies! I'm going to make some.

Peanut butter and jelly/jam tends to be something most American kids grow up, kinda like chicken noodle soup or macaroni and cheese.

Most Americans do. I don't like them, I hate peanut butter, but most people do.

Do I count as American? If so, I'm too German to like peanut butter, so no.

If you think you're American, you're American.

Those are American childhood staples, although I never really ate those things too much.

Hell, I'm almost 20 and I still eat chicken noodle soup for lunch. Fight me, it's good.

Don't forget to add the ramen noodles. Really is a big part in college.

Do crab and lobster count as fish?

According to cladistics, no.

According to menus, yes.

I love peanut butter (crunchy style) jelly or jam (strawberry rhubarb is great, cherry, or strawberry preserves) or if I have no jelly or jam, a sliced ripe banana pressed down into the PB.

All I remember was that the peanut butter and jelly sandwich kept appearing in different Cartoon Network shows

At 12 when I was watching these shows I would ask... “what’s that? Is this something Americans like?”
