Hmmm maybe a poll about which country/people have the best cuisine?

Italian? Chinese? American? Thai? Etc?

What would even constitute American food? Like I'm genuinely curious. If someone on the other side of the world says "Hey let's get some American food," what comes to mind?

I imagine pizza, burgers, fries, steak, hot dogs, and fried chicken. Basically what fast food chains have to offer.

As a non-American, yeah, that's what I usually think of. Burgers, quite an amount of bacon, fries (but not all the time, as I saw), steak, so on.

I don't equate it to junk food. A burger doesn't have to come from a fast food place all the time, but I imagine that it's something Americans eat as food, mostly homecooked burgers, steaks, salad, etc. ♥

Can relate. The smell of turkey, especially that turkey potato chip that I tried in the UK, alone makes me uncomfy.

Lemon cream pie mixed with heaps of honey, cinnamon, cardamom, and topped with an assortment of berries and kiwi. And a side of sliced bananas, berries, kiwis, and grapes if it's not fruity enough

Sadly, no. I ate it as it came out of the oven and smothered it in homemade berry jam. But I'll definitely try to bake it again and will share it here if you all like

Some people dip them in different sauces but I find they taste just fine on their own.
