Cooked carrots go well into Taiwan Beef Noodle (mixes well with the soup base); I also like it with my roast beef as a vegetable side :)

I’m strange in that where I can at restaurants, when I order Chinese soup noodles I try to request No Onions :)

There’s a Dan Dan noodle place and I always say, “no onions please.” :)

I don't hate onions, but I hate ginger very much.I always say to my mother, don't put ginger, don't put ginger. But she always said, "but then I can't cook. How do you taste two slices of ginger from a pot of soup".But I just can taste it. It's like being caught in your throat when you're having a happy meal

I avoid chewing on it. But I find it’s flavoring effects on Chinese dishes good. I just don’t like the direct taste.

I don’t mind it in the sauce.

If you ever want to see me refuse to eat a dish, lima beans and beets will do it.

Anything else that I have tasted, I am good with.

I love smoked haddock. Love onions and ginger, too (Though the thought of onions and ginger with smoked haddock rather makes my stomach turn).

I try not to be overly picky (I will try most anything I'm given -- as long as it doesn't contain anything I have an allergy or intolerance to). That said, I really can't stomach lamb. Also, vegetables (especially green or cruciferous ones) that are overcooked to the point of being mushy.

If there's anything I'm likely to politely refuse, those are the things.
